Kate is a General Paediatrician who grew up in Tasmania and graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2010 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

Kate has lived in Newcastle since 2011 and has been working in paediatrics across a number of hospitals within the Northern Paediatric Network since 2013. She was awarded Fellowship of the Paediatric and Child Health Division of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2018.

Since early 2019, Kate has been working in private practice at The Newcastle Paediatric Clinic and contributing to the neonatal on call roster at Newcastle Private Hospital.

Kate enjoys all aspects of General Paediatrics but has a particular interest Neonatal Medicine and Developmental Paediatrics.

Kate lives with her husband in Newcastle and is looking forward to starting a family.
