Dr Komal Vora
MBBS (Hons), DCH, FRACP
Dr Komal Vora is a specialist paediatric endocrinologist who received her fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2017 after training at the John Hunter Childrenās Hospital and The Childrenās Hospital at Westmead. In addition to her private practice Komal also works as a staff specialist in the department of paediatric endocrinology at the John Hunter Childrenās Hospital and conjoint lecturer at the University of Newcastle. Komal is also actively involved in multiple research projects. Her current research focus on quality of life and thyroid dysfunction in children with Prader Willi Syndrome and identification and prevention of bone complications in children with type 1 diabetes. She has particular interest in paediatric diabetes and chronic endocrine conditions such as thyroid, pituitary, growth and puberty issues. She aims to improve quality of life for affected children and their families. In her spare time, Komal loves to bike ride and spend time with her two young children.
